English Graduate Teaching Assistant – Westminster, Central London

Teaching Personnel are looking for a number English Graduates to fill various positions across Westminster secondary schools. This position will start as soon as the person has been vetted ideally before October 2023.

The opportunity is perfect for English graduates looking to springboard a career in education with invaluable hands on, classroom experience, perfect for those looking to strengthen their CV’s before going through their PGCE’s. The role provides complete flexibility to work around other personal commitments, letting you decide how many and which days you work per week, ideal for those who may be studying a masters or have part time work looking to bolster experience alongside it.

Teaching Assistant

  • Assisting the teacher with setting up the classroom, marking and lesson preparation
  • Provide 1:1 or small group classroom support for students who may be struggling behaviourally or academically
  • Work with a range of different students and departments, a fantastic networking opportunity
  • Pay will be minimum £80.00 per day.
  • Payments are made a week in arrears.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
