This is a full-time position starting in October and continuing until the end of the academic year, with the potential for the role to become permanent depending on performance. The pay for this role is between £419.25 and £500 per week.

Role Overview:

As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with students and teachers to support learning in English. You will provide targeted assistance to students both in the classroom and in small group or one-on-one settings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering English lessons by providing support to students who may require extra help understanding the material

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in English or a related subject is essential
  • A passion for education and helping students develop their skills in English
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with students of varying abilities
  • The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff, providing positive encouragement and support
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a school environment
  • Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting, is desirable but not essential
