We're currently looking for Teaching Assistants to join a number of welcoming secondary schools across Rochdale.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with young people and understands the difference the right support can make to a student's confidence and progress.
You'll be supporting students in lessons, working with small groups and providing additional help where needed. Some days you'll be helping students overcome barriers to learning, while on others you'll simply be providing encouragement and helping keep pupils engaged.
Schools are looking for people who are approachable, patient and able to build positive relationships with both students and staff.
Previous school experience is helpful but not essential. We've seen excellent Teaching Assistants come from a range of backgrounds including coaching, youth work, mentoring and graduate roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
