Teaching Assistant New

Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in the Telford area from September.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate, making it an excellent role for someone looking to build a rewarding career in education.
The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support students across a range of subjects throughout the school day.
• Work alongside teachers to help pupils reach their full potential.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions where needed.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

• Teaching Assistant (TA)
• Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Behaviour Mentor
• Youth Worker
• Sports Coach
• Graduate looking to gain valuable school experience

To be successful, you'll have:
• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people in education.
