Are you passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential?

We are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Waterlooville on a full-time basis.

You will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them engage with learning, develop confidence and become as independent as possible.

  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Be patient, compassionate and understanding.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be confident adapting activities to meet individual needs.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to making a difference.
  • Have previous experience working with children with SEND (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
