Teaching Assistant New

Our thriving client secondary school in Glossop are looking to appoint a number of committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on young people’s learning and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in lessons, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
• Work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions and small group support.
• Assist in the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
• Provide pastoral support and help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
