We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for someone passionate about helping children learn, grow, and achieve their potential.

The Role

Support the class teacher with engaging and effective lessons

Provide one-to-one or small group support across a range of abilities

Assist with planning, preparation of learning materials, and classroom organisation

Promote positive behaviour and maintain an inclusive learning environment

Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to support achievement

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting (essential)

Confident supporting phonics, reading, writing, and maths at primary level

Proactive, reliable, and adaptable to different classroom needs

Patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children thrive

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
