Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• One-on-One Support: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored assistance to two children with EHCPs, focusing on their specific needs related to ASC and speech and language development.
• Behavioral Support: The SEN Teaching Assistant will implement strategies to manage and encourage positive behaviour, creating a supportive learning atmosphere.
• Communication Assistance: The SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with speech and language therapists to help the children develop their communication skills.
• Classroom Integration: Ensure that the pupils are fully integrated into classroom activities, with the SEN Teaching Assistant adapting lessons and tasks to meet their individual needs.
• Collaborative Work: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will liaise with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
