Teaching Assistant Expiring soon

Teaching Personnel is recruiting specialist Teaching Assistants to work within a classroom environment with students who are between the ages of 11 and 16 years old. It is a small setting for students who are unable to access the mainstream curriculum and require additional support with their behaviours towards their education and social interactions. 

Working Monday to Friday, the successful applicant will work closely with the class teacher to support students on a small group or 1:1 basis with their studies, whilst helping to break down the barriers the students may have towards their learning. This position requires someone ASAP and will be on an on going contract with the view to become permanent. 

Teaching Personnel offer competitive rates, WEEKLY PAY and do not use Umbrella companies to process your payment. 

The successful candidate will: 

• Have recent experience working with children or adults 
• A nurturing and patient approach to learning and understanding
• Have experience working with individuals with SEMH/ ADHD/ challenging backgrounds
• Availability 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 
• The aptitude to build positive relationships with students 
• A valid DBS on the update service or be willing apply for a new one and register with the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
