Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work across our client schools in Buckinghamshire. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and fostering a positive learning environment for our students. If you are passionate about education, have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners, and possess the necessary skills and qualities, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Assist in the development of lesson materials and resources.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Help students with their coursework and homework.
  • Monitor and track student progress and report observations to teachers.
  • Support students with special educational needs and accommodations.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
  • Participate in school activities, events, and parent-teacher meetings as required.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma; higher education or relevant qualifications are a plus.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and safeguarding training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
