Teaching Assistant – ASAP start– full-time temporary
One of Teaching Personnel’s client schools are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to start ASAPon a full-time temporary basis until the end of the school year. The school is an 11-16 all-girls school that is situated in South Manchester and easily accessible via public transport as well as by vehicle. The school is Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ and provides the best level of education for all its students, creating independent and ambitious women who are well prepared to tackle life after school.
The role will involve helping the class teacher within lessons by working with a small number of pupils who require additional support with their learning. Generally, it will be the student’s literacy and numeracy skills that need help developing if they are to progress at the desired rate that will see them complete the curriculum. The ideal candidate will be able to build professional relationships built on trust easily and will have a calm and friendly demeanor that is capable of putting people at ease. The candidate will need strong literacy and numeracy skills and should be confident working within a classroom based setting whilst also liaising with various class teachers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
