Maths Teaching Assistant needed ASAP in Central Manchester

Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School based in the outskirts of Manchester City Centre, who are specifically looking for an outgoing and sociable Teaching Assistant to join the Maths Department. Ideally a successful candidate should be available to start as soon as possible and be committed to working full-time (8:15am – 3:15pm) with the school until the end of the academic year.

The nature of the education environment is becoming extremely competitive, and the role of a Maths TA is essential for this school. The introduction of this role is required to target and specifically bridge the gap and support students who are disadvantaged with significantly less opportunities than other children across the UK. It is important that applicants are kind and patient so that they can connect with these students who are struggling and lack confidence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
