Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work at a partner SEN school in Bournemouth.

The school is a friendly, vibrant provision for pupils with autism and related needs. They are looking to appoint a proactive Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support within the classroom and work alongside the teacher and other support staff.

The ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Relevant experience (classroom experience is beneficial but not required)
• A patient, understanding approach
• Strong communication skills
• Be a good team member

About the role:

• Supporting SEN pupils across the school, helping them to achieve their potential
• Helping students to engage fully in lessons and activities
• Working with the SENCO to monitor and encourage development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
