This vacancy is open to Students, Graduates, Healthcare Workers, Support Workers, Counsellors, Youth Workers, Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, and those with personal experience of managing Autism, Mental Health and Challenging Behaviour.
We are actively recruiting for several teaching assistant positions across our Secondary Schools in Chelmsford, and surrounding areas. We are seeking keen and motivated individuals, who are willing to get ‘stuck in’ from the get-go. If you are looking to begin or continue their career within the education sector, this could be the role for you! If successful, you will be working with pupils between the ages of 11-16 years as part of a very supportive and welcoming team who work hard to encourage and support the learning and development of pupils in their school.
The pupils you will work with may have either SEMH and/or autism, which means you may need to manage challenging and disruptive behaviours on a regular basis.
Teaching Personnel can offer you a wide range of CPD courses in SEN, to support you in your career. Courses include Teaching Assistant Diplomas, Child Psychology and Understanding Autism.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
