Teaching Assistant in Trafford – asap start, full-time temporary

Teaching Personnel are currently experiencing a high demand for Teaching Assistant within the Trafford region of South Manchester on both a full-time and part-times basis. The roles are beginning immediately/as soon as possible and run for varying amounts of time; the shortest being a fortnight with the longest being until the summer holidays. The schools in Trafford generally tend to service affluent catchment areas and benefit from a high amount of school funding to be sent on support staff to help around the school.

Teaching Assistant roles generally tend to require someone who is flexible and adaptable and can help students within each subject on their timetable, providing a level of consistency within their day-to-day education. Other specialized Teaching Assistant roles are also needed within schools in south Manchester, and a candidate with a specialized subject ability is a bonus.

  • Pay: £66 - £77 per day depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will be confident with a classroom setting and will have strong literacy and numeracy skills. The candidate will also have a patient and understanding demeanor with a caring attitude. Experience within a school is desirable, with experience within a role that would provide transferrable skills essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
