Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a science graduate in the Central London area to work in a bustling science department. The school are recruiting a candidate with expert subject knowledge of general science. The role will begin on the 17th January and last up to the easter break initially, however there is a chance for the science graduate to work towards a full time position in a school should the initial term be a success.

- Payments are made a week in arrears, with pay working out on a pay as you earn basis.
The candidate would be required across the department as a lab technician and to fit in as a teaching assistant across all subjects in the department. The teaching assistant role will be to help out pupils who are struggling with workload and need an extra helping hand to consolidate knowledge both in and out of class time. The successful graduate would not necessarily have to have worked in a school before but some experience working with young people (11-16 years) would be desirable. Experience working in a science lab in university or through occupation will be compulsory.
The school is based in the centre of Manchester and serves a diverse community. The school population is a reflection of the surrounding community, with different cultures and languages being spoken making it an exciting and everchanging place to work. To commute to the school there is an onsite car park which is available to be used by staff. Alternatively, there are bus Metrolink and train routes with connect closely to the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
