Teaching Personnel are recruiting a teaching assistant to work in the Timperley area of south Manchester. The successful teaching assistant will be required to begin work on the 5th September 2022 in a role that will last up until the end of the academic year. The working hours of this role will be part time working two to three days per week starting at 8:45am and finishing at 3pm.
The role will be supporting a pupil that is currently struggling to keep up with there academics and has special educational needs. The role will be spending time with the pupil both in and out of lessons. In lessons the teaching assistant will need to ensure the pupil is keeping up with the main class lead and able to do all the work that is being set. They will also be require to host 1 to 1 sessions in the pupils free periods to make sure homework and consolidation of what they are learning is being done effectively.
The role
To commute to the school the Teaching assistant will be able to drive to the school as there is free onsite parking that can be used. Alternatively, the Timperley area does have a Metrolink stop and busses which run down the main roads in the area coming from the central Manchester area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
