Are you passionate about supporting secondary school students and helping them achieve their potential? One of our partner schools in Tonypandy (CF40) is seeking a committed and approachable Secondary Teaching Assistant to join their supportive educational team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and group support for pupils across a range of subjects
• Assist teaching staff with classroom activities and learning resources
• Support students with additional learning needs, including those with special educational needs
• Help maintain a positive and focused learning environment
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will:

• Have experience working with secondary school-aged children (11-16)
• Be patient, empathetic, and skilled in building strong relationships with students
• Possess good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Be confident in supporting behaviour management strategies

Experience with children is desired, but we welcome skills from other sectors.

Essential Requirements:

Teaching Personnel provide support with obtaining the following:

• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
• Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
• References covering at least the previous two years of employment
