We are recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a well-regarded mainstream primary school in Blackburn. This role is based within a specialist resource provision attached to the school, supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). It offers an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.

  • Provide tailored support to pupils within the resource provision
  • Work one-to-one and in small groups to support learning and development
  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering differentiated activities
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including communication and behaviour
