We are seeking a strong and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Salford on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs to achieve their full potential.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN
  • Assist in delivering tailored learning plans alongside the class teacher and SENCO
  • Support students with behavioural, emotional, and learning needs
  • Help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a resilient, confident approach
  • Passionate about supporting students with additional needs
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
