We are seeking a caring, motivated, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting in Wilmslow supporting pupils aged 5–19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and associated needs.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils thrive both academically and personally. You will support students in the classroom, encourage independence, and help create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils with learning activities, communication, and emotional regulation
Promote positive behaviour and independence
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Support pupils with individual learning and care needs
Help create a calm, safe, and nurturing environment for all learners
Adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEN

Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN
Patient, empathetic, and resilient
Positive, proactive, and adaptable
A strong team player with excellent communication skills
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Essential Requirements:
GCSE Maths and English (Grade C / Level 3 or above)
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (paid or voluntary)
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Desirable:
Level 2 or above qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
Knowledge or experience of ASD, SEMH, or complex needs
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
