SEMH Learning Support Assistant Needed

Egham
Monday–Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm

Do you have the patience, resilience and confidence to support young people who need someone in their corner?

We’re looking for a dedicated SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive SEMH school in Egham, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

This is a rewarding role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of building strong, positive relationships with students.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs within the classroom
  • Helping students stay engaged, regulated and motivated throughout the school day
  • Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff
  • Providing consistent encouragement, structure and emotional support

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting SEMH students in a classroom setting is essential
  • Calm, resilient and adaptable personality
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for helping young people succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
