An exceptional specialist provision near Cranborne and Wimborne is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
This rewarding environment supports children and young people with autism, communication needs and associated learning differences.
Staff create structured and nurturing spaces where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and emotional resilience through personalised support and therapeutic approaches.
Working within small groups alongside experienced educators and therapists, you will provide tailored support both inside and outside the classroom.
The role involves helping pupils engage positively with learning, encouraging emotional regulation and promoting social development through patient, calm and consistent strategies.
You will play an important role in helping young people feel safe, understood and motivated throughout the school day while supporting both educational and personal development goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children or young people with SEN, although transferable experience from childcare, youth work or care settings will also be considered.
A positive attitude, resilience and strong communication skills are essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
