We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support students across secondary schools in Bolton from September 2026. These roles are ideal for individuals committed to supporting young people with additional needs in an educational setting.

There are also opportunities for work prior to September, offering flexibility for candidates wishing to gain experience or secure earlier placements.

  • Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assist in delivering learning activities within the classroom
  • Support students’ academic progress, engagement, and wellbeing
  • Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to implement support strategies
  • Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment

The successful applicants will demonstrate:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally within an SEN or school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, adaptability, and a supportive approach
  • A professional and reliable attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
