Education and Training

£85 - £100 per day

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborating with other staff members and parents to ensure the best support for students with SEN
  • Good understanding of SEN and experience working with students with diverse needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting the educational development of students with SEN

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Prior experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting

  • Knowledge of different SEN conditions and strategies to support students
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
  • Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Additional training in supporting students with specific SEN requirements

This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The working hours are typically aligned with school hours, and occasional overtime may be required for meetings or events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
