SEN Teaching Assistant:

-          Role: SEN support teaching assistant.

-          Hours: 08:30-15:30

-          Line manager: SENCO.

-          Start date: ASAP.

-          Location: Preston (PR1).

A great opportunity has arisen at a school in Preston for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their lovely staffing team as soon as possible. This role will run until July 2024 with the possibility to extend into the next academic year.

Roles and responsibilities:

-          Supporting children with additional needs on a daily basis.

-          Working closely with the school’s SENCO.

-          Using students targeted learning plans to support the children’s development.

-          Creating strong professional relationships with both the children you support and the staff team.

-          Attending multi-agency meetings.

Requirements:

-          Experience supporting children with additional needs.

-          Experience working within a Secondary school.

-          Knowledge of Autism and ADHD.

-          Full Time availability.
