SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced TA or ECT that is looking to work with Primary school aged children?

A school in Plymouth are seeking someone to work 1:1 and in small groups supporting children with SEN. The school is a welcoming and nurturing mainstream setting and would like an experienced TA to deliver ther work set by the class teacher in a fun, engaging and interactive way to suit the needs to the children in the intervention group. The aim is to encourage engagement in their learning and help them grow in confidence. 

Teaching Personnel offer competitive rates, WEEKLY PAY and do not use Umbrella companies to process your payment. 

The successful candidate will: 

• Have recent experience working with children - ideally children with SEN such as SEMH or ADHD 

• A nurturing and patient approach to learning and understanding 

• Availability 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 

• The aptitude to build positive relationships with students 

• A valid DBS on the update service or be willing apply for a new one and register with the update service
