SEN TA at Burnage – Easter Start – full time temporary

One of Teaching Personnel’s client schools in South Manchester require a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant on a full-time temporary basis who could start at the beginning of the school’s Spring term. The school prides itself on its ability to cater towards all student ability levels and ensures that no pupil is left behind. That is why they require an SEN Teaching Assistant who has a desire to help young people accomplish their goals.

The role would require the educator to work with pupils with SEN requirements in either a one to one or small group capacity within lessons. The candidate will need to work with the pupils within lesson time and should be able to provide additional support alongside the classroom activities. The ideal candidate would have experience of working within a similar role before and would have a strong desire to make a difference within this area.

  • Monday to Friday (8am – 3pm)
  • Pay: £66.30 - £77.00 per day depending on experience
  • Starting in April until the end of the school year (July)

This role does not require the candidate to have QTS, however the candidate would need to have experience within a school setting or would require experience within a similar role that would provide a transferrable skillset for this job. Experienced teachers who are looking for a different role are also encouraged to apply. Anybody looking to gain experience in the classroom working with children before going on to begin the teacher training progress would find this an excellent opportunity and very rewarding experience.
