SEN Teaching Assistant

One of Teaching Personnel’s client school based in North London are looking for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time temporary basis. The role would start after the schools February half-term break and would run until the end of the school year, with 5 days per week being required.

The school are dedicated to ensuring that all students get the support they require in order to best prepare them for life after school, and this is evidenced by the hard work that each and every member of teaching and support staff puts in. The school can be reached easily via public transport and is less than a ten-minute walk from the nearest tram stop.

The role would involve working with students in either a small group or one to one basis throughout each of their classes during the school day. Some of the SEN requirements of these pupils include Dyslexia, Autism and ADHD. A candidate with a patient and calm manner as well as strong behaviour management skills and the ability to cultivate trust-based relationship easily with pupils, is required for this post.

  • Pay: £80 per day depending on experience.
  • 5 days per week from February until July.
  • Flexible working days.
  • 8:00am – 3:00pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
