SEN Teaching Assistant needed in Tower Hamlets!

Start Date: October 2022

Role: Full-Time

Pay: £70 - £95 per day depending on experience

An ‘outstanding’ school is looking for an excellent, proactive special educational needs teaching assistant who can support children with additional sensory, and physical impairments. This school are looking for a caring and nurturing support staff to help create a safe, friendly environment.

We are open to candidates with qualifications in:

  • Psychology
  • Youth/community work experience
  • Care worker
  • Mentoring
  • SEN experience

Candidates will:

  • Support pupils 1:1 in small groups
  • May have experience working with children with special educational needs or supporting vulnerable people
  • Have excellent knowledge of safeguarding policies
  • Apply behaviour policies effectively
  • Be a confident and a role model
  • Have a DBS on the update system
