SEN Teaching Assistant – Lewisham, South East London

    We are looking for experienced specialist SEN Teaching Assistants, to support children. You must have a solid understanding of SEN, mainly Autism and SEMH, as you will be working 1:1 and occasionally taking small groups. This is a great opportunity for you to develop your knowledge and skills in a particular area of SEN. There will be ongoing support for your professional development, and you will join a supportive team in a school in the Lewisham area.

    SEN Teaching Assistant Specification:
  • A solid SEN background - Autism and SEMH experience
  • Seeking someone who is creative, proactive, resilient and can get the best out of the pupils
  • Previous experience working with Primary or Secondary children will be essential
  • The successful candidate will have experience of supporting pupils with complex special educational needs on both a 1:1 basis, as well as supporting in small groups
