Are you a Passionate SEMH teaching assistant looking for a new challenge this September?
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a lovely school in Haywards heath that caters to pupils with social, emotional and mental health issues, autism, Asperger’s syndrome and ADHD. The role will involve encouraging pupils to participate in learning activities, helping them to build self-esteem and confidence in an environment that is both fun and educational. You will help teach the curriculum and adapting your teaching approach where necessary to suit the varying needs of pupils, reporting and tracking progress to other members of the team. The successful SEMH teaching assistant will have a proven background in helping those with SEN, SEMH, autism or other learning difficulties, A good knowledge of safeguarding and a child only DBS (on the update service).

- Experience working with learning difficulties
- DBS or willing to apply
- Able to reliably commute

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
