We are currently partnering with a number of inclusive and well-regarded secondary schools across the Oldham area who are looking to appoint committed SEN Support staff on a full-time, part-time and permanent basis. These opportunities are available for immediate start as well as for the new academic year in September, offering flexibility for those ready to move now or planning ahead.

These roles involve providing tailored support to pupils aged 11–16 with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and moderate learning difficulties. You will be working both within the classroom and on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping students to engage with their learning, build confidence and manage any barriers to progress. Working closely with teaching staff and the wider SEN team, you will play a key role in creating a positive, structured and supportive environment for every learner.

Schools are keen to meet individuals who have experience supporting young people with special educational needs, ideally within a secondary setting. However, candidates with relevant experience from care, youth work or similar backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. What matters most is your ability to build strong relationships, remain calm under pressure and demonstrate genuine commitment to supporting students with additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a long-term career within education, with many schools offering clear pathways into permanent contracts and teacher training routes. You will be joining supportive school communities where inclusion is a priority and staff wellbeing and development are taken seriously.

In return, you can expect competitive daily rates, consistent work, and access to ongoing training and development to enhance your skills within SEN support. Whether you are looking for full-time stability or part-time flexibility, there are a range of roles available to suit your circumstances.

If you are passionate about making a difference and ready to take the next step in your career within SEN support in Oldham, we would love to hear from you
