We are currently looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Alternative Provision setting in Burgess Hill, supporting young people who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is calm, resilient and compassionate, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference to the lives of young people.
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team to support pupils both academically and emotionally.

Previous experience working with SEMH, challenging behaviour, SEN, youth work, residential care, sports coaching, mentoring or similar settings would be highly beneficial. However, the school is also open to candidates with the right attitude and transferable experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
