A high-achieving and supportive secondary school in Cheadle, Stockport is seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their science department on a full-time basis from September 2025. This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate to work alongside experienced teachers and support pupils across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

  • Support students in Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group intervention sessions, helping pupils grasp key concepts and improve confidence

  • Assist with lesson preparation, lab-based practical support, and resource creation

  • Provide classroom support during practical investigations and help manage behaviour

  • Monitor and report on student progress to contribute to personalised learning plans

  • Location: Cheadle, Stockport

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract: Full academic year (with potential teacher training opportunities)

  • Pay: £89.38 - £100 per day (based on experience)

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 3:15pm
