Teaching Personnel are recruiting psychology graduates to work in a school in the Tower Hamlets area. The role will be part time hours, with the graduate having an opportunity to select the hours they work by updating there Teaching Personnel online diary, this is done via the website of or the new Teaching Personnel app which can be downloaded in the app store. The psychology graduate will act as a teaching assistant and mentor with pupils across multiple departments in the school.
The psychology graduate will be asked to work with selected pupils in a classroom who may be struggling to keep up with academia. These pupils may have special educational needs or behavioural issues with the graduate being required to use their theoretical knowledge learnt through study and apply it to a classroom environment. It is not just about ensuring the children are up to date with academics but also checking the pupils are enjoying life at school and are making friends.

To commute to school would be perfect for anyone living in the Tower Hamlets or north London area. There are local main road and Motorway links which attach the school to the rest of Manchester including an on-site car park which is free to use by staff. Alternatively, there are Metrolink and bus services which run closely to the school, should the psychology graduate prefer to use public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
