This school provides education for young people across South Somerset who are unable to access their mainstream school. This may be for social and emotional reasons, for medical or mental health reasons, or because they have been Permanently Excluded. They strive to ensure students are not disadvantaged, and work tirelessly to ensure that their academic outcomes and long-term life chances are not affected by attending a PRU for part of their education.

They currently have a need for an Outreach Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is suitable for very experienced Teaching Assistants or HLTA’s/Senior Teaching Assistants who are looking for their next challenge.

  • Outreach teaching assistant  - Working with local schools to support inclusion and prevent permanent exclusion
  • Focusing on Early years/KS1 and early KS2 age range 
  • You will be traveling to different schools across Yeovil so must drive and have access to a vehicle

This is a part time position – either 3 days a week or 5 short days. Hours to be confirmed.

This is a temporary position with opportunity for permanent employment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
