Are you passionate about early childhood development and nurturing the growth of young minds? A nursery in Bolton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join their team starting in September.

The Role: As a Nursery Nurse, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and experiences that promote learning and development across all areas, including physical, cognitive, social, and emotional.
  • Building positive relationships with children and their families, fostering a sense of security, trust, and belonging.
  • Observing and assessing children's progress and development, and maintaining accurate records to inform planning and communication with parents/carers.
  • Supporting children's personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and dressing, with sensitivity and respect for their individuality.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and supports the holistic development of every child.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Passion for working with young children and a genuine commitment to their well-being and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage and inspire children through a variety of stimulating activities and experiences.
  • Understanding of child development principles and a willingness to continue learning and growing as an early years practitioner.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
