The Role:
As a Music Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning by delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting students in their development and engagement within Music and wider lessons where required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans across Music and additional subjects where required
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged in learning
- Supporting students to complete class activities and tasks
- Creating a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Assisting with general classroom duties and school expectations
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:- A passion for Music and education
- Experience working with young people, schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work, performing arts or similar settings (desirable)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confidence leading groups of students
- A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
- A Music-related qualification or background would be advantageous but is not essential
