Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience supporting young people's mental health and wellbeing?

A specialist school in Witney is looking for a caring and motivated Mental Health Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Counselling, Therapy, or Education.

As a Mental Health Assistant, you will:

  • Provide individual and small-group emotional support to students.
  • Help young people develop confidence, resilience, and healthy coping strategies.
  • Support students with emotional and behavioural challenges throughout the school day.
  • Encourage positive communication, social skills, and engagement in school life.
  • Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support students' wellbeing.
  • Build trusting and supportive relationships with students.

We're looking for someone who is:
