Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant who is considering a future career as a teacher and therefore looking to utilise their Maths skillset and interest. If you are interested in pursuing a role in the education sector, this is the ideal role for you as a graduate to gain relevant experience in advance of moving onto your teacher training.

The successful Maths graduate will gain relevant school-based experience and a wide range of skills on how to perform administrative tasks, work with students in small groups and support within a busy, supportive Maths department. Highlights of the future teacher’s programme:

• Full time Maths graduate teaching assistant opportunity
• Earn up to £1550 per month whilst gaining vital experience prior to taking on a teaching training programme (hours approximately 8:30am – 3:30pm)
• Opportunity for a Maths graduate or related (Accounting/Finance) who is aspiring to become a teacher in the future
• Start ASAP but ideally by 30^th September, after October half term

This role will give the successful Maths graduate a good understanding of the role as a teacher and stand any graduate in great stead to take on a teaching position in the future. Working with our partner school in central Manchester, you will have the chance to develop your own subject knowledge whilst supporting and assisting students in Mathematics. You will gain experience in working with students with special educational needs, covering lessons in the absence of the teacher as well as get a feel for how to plan lessons and create resources accordingly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
