A thriving primary school in Blackburn is looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temp‑to‑perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who can take on additional responsibility and support high‑quality teaching and learning across the school.

The successful candidate will work with pupils across different year groups, deliver targeted interventions, and contribute to planning and assessment alongside the class teacher. This role requires confidence, initiative, and a strong understanding of primary education.

  • Deliver structured interventions and small‑group support

  • Assist with planning and preparation of learning activities

  • Provide high‑quality classroom support across the school

  • Contribute to assessment and pupil progress tracking

  • Support pupils with additional needs and promote inclusive practice

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Strong experience within a primary school setting
