Level 2 Teaching Assistant New

We are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Rochdale from September.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a real difference to their learning and confidence. You will work closely with teachers to support students in the classroom, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create a positive learning environment.

The role will involve:

• Supporting students across the secondary age range
• Working with teachers to deliver effective classroom support
• Providing one-to-one and small group interventions
• Helping students stay engaged and focused on their learning
• Supporting students with their social and emotional development
• Assisting with classroom preparation and general school duties

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Has experience working with children or young people
• Is confident supporting students in a classroom environment
• Has a patient, positive and approachable manner
• Is reliable, hardworking and keen to make a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
