We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work within a range of mainstream secondary schools across North Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people in their educational journey and helping them achieve their full potential. Whether you have experience within schools, youth work, mentoring, or support-based roles, we want to hear from you.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to secondary-aged students.
  • Assist students with their learning across a range of subjects.
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents where appropriate.
  • Support pupils who may require additional academic or pastoral guidance.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, Learning Mentor, or in a similar role.
  • Experience working with children or young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and act as a positive role model.
  • A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Relevant qualifications in Education, Childcare, Psychology, Youth Work, Health & Social Care, or a related field.
  • Previous experience within a secondary school setting.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and behaviour management strategies.
  • Experience supporting pupils with varying learning abilities.
