We are currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work at a truly lovely school in the Poole area.

A specialist SEN school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic practitioner to work with students who have complex needs including physical disabilities. The school are proud to offer a supportive, friendly environment for both its staff and pupils, and there is also potential for permanent, long-term work for the right candidate.

What does the role involve?

You will be working mainly on a 1-1 basis with pupils within the class, helping them to truly engage in their learning. The school offers a varied curriculum with plenty of activities, including sports and outdoor learning.

This is a hugely fulfilling role, where you will be able to see the difference you make in young people’s lives in real time.

You may be required to work 1-1, 1-2 and with small groups with pupils, to attend trips off-site, and help the teacher and other support staff to set up the classroom for the day’s learning.
