Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work at one of our local schools in Christchurch.

The school is an independent day school for students aged 6-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs preventing them from accessing mainstream education. The school has a unique rural setting, and several farmyard animals live on-site. The school makes full use of its grounds, with its curriculum including plenty of outdoor activities.

What are we looking for?

• A calm, patient practitioner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management abilities

Ideal candidate qualities

• Experience working in a school or related area (youth coaching, social care, community volunteering etc)
• GCSE Maths and English
• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to get one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
