Learning Support Assistant - Durham Secondary Schools

Long term full time position, £105 to £120 per day.

Teaching Personnel is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work in secondary schools across Durham. You'll work with class teachers supporting pupils across the trust in a long term full time role. A full brief will be provided on your first day.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils in secondary school settings
  • Working alongside class teachers to deliver effective learning support
  • Assisting students with their learning and development
  • Helping create positive and inclusive classroom environments
  • Supporting students with additional needs where required

You need:

  • A recognised UK qualification or Level 2 or Level 3 equivalent
  • Experience working with children
  • Ability to commute to Durham
  • Current DBS Certificate or willingness to undertake an application
  • Right to work within the UK
