Position: Inclusion Mentor

Location: NN3, Northampton

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking versatile and enthusiastic individuals to work in one of our clients schools based in NN3 as part of their inclusion team supporting a range of students with diverse needs.

About the role

The successful candidates will be working closely with intervention leaders and the SENCO team having the responsibility of implementing programmes for individuals and/or groups with a variety of different needs. You’ll also be liaising directly with class teachers to ensure there is full understanding across the board about the needs of the students.

The school is based in NN3 so very centrally to Northampton so is easily accessible both on public transport, and for drivers. The role is a full time position working 8;15am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 4:00pm on Fridays.

Requirements

-          Experience working with a variety of children with SEN

-          Hold an ELSA qualification or be willing to train as an ELS (Emotional literacy support assistant)

-          Hold an enhanced child only DBS or be willing to apply for one

-          Feel passionate about supporting the growth of students

-          Have a motivated and resilient approach to supporting students

-          Full time availability
