Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Sale

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours. September 2024 - July 2025.

Salary: £85 - £95 Per day (based on a 6.5 hour working day)

Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree in any area

Skills: Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills, Confident within a classroom setting, A passion to support young people in education, Able to show patience and empathy

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Support individual students or small groups with their learning and development
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Provide feedback to students and assist with assessments
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support

• Undergraduate Degree in any field

• Undergraduate Degree from a recognised institution

• Prior experience working with children or young people is desirable

• Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for supporting young people in their education
• Ability to demonstrate patience and empathy

• Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience

• Temporary position with Full-Time hours
• Work within a secondary school setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
