Role Overview:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students across various subjects and year groups. Your responsibilities will include:
Classroom Support: Assisting teachers with the delivery of lessons, providing one-to-one or small group support to students who require additional help with their studies.
Resource Preparation: Helping to prepare teaching materials, resources, and equipment for lessons, ensuring that classrooms are set up and organised to facilitate effective teaching and learning activities.
Student Engagement: Engaging students in their learning by providing encouragement, motivation, and assistance as they work through tasks and activities set by teachers.
Behaviour Management: Assisting teachers in managing classroom behaviour, implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and ensure a conducive learning environment for all students.
Individualised Support: Providing targeted intervention and support to students with special educational needs or those facing academic challenges, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Extracurricular Activities: Getting involved in extracurricular activities and enrichment programmes, such as clubs or workshops, to enhance the educational experience and personal development of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
